What the rates mean
The lodging rate is the nightly cap for reimbursable lodging before taxes or agency-specific rules.
The M&IE rate is the daily meals and incidental expenses amount for that destination.
Fiscal-year per diem rates usually start on October 1 and run through the next September 30.
